Professional Development and Outreach activities

• September 2016 - May 2017: Oregon State University CS462 CS Senior Capstone project #45 Proposer and Stakeholder.
• Internet Science and Technology Fair National Judge 2015 - 2016
• April 2016: Completed the 10-course Data Science Specialization by John Hopskins University on Coursera. The certificate can be viewed here.
• Spring 2016 co-stakeholder for two USC Undergraduate Computer Science CSCI 401: Capstone:Design and Construction of Large Software Systems Capstone projects. One project focused on increasing the I/O capabilities of the Grab 'em, Tag 'em, Graph 'em method, where as the other involved information retrieval tasks of the core project SCORED. 
• February 2016: Talk to the She.Codes Club @ the Pasadena Community College (PCC) titled "A perspective on: Charting an interdisciplinary career path". The slide deck can be found here.
• Fall 2015 co-stakeholder for one USC Undergraduate Computer Science CSCI 401: Capstone:Design and Construction of Large Software Systems Capstone project. The project focused on parallelizing the Grab 'em, Tag 'em, Graph 'em method leveraging Python's multiprocessing library.
• July 2015: Completed edX Berkeley Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark certification. The certificate can be viewed here. 
• National Science Foundation (NSF) Panel Reviewer 2016 and 2015.
